Killer Sudoku
Cages of distinct digits that add up to a given total.
Also known as Sumdoku, Sum Sudoku, Samunamupure.
How to play Killer Sudoku
- Standard 9×9 sudoku: 1–9 exactly once per row, column and 3×3 box.
- The dashed outlines are cages. The small number in a cage's top-left corner is the total of every digit inside it.
- No digit repeats inside a cage — a two-cell cage totalling 4 is 1 and 3, never 2 and 2.
Where to start
A three-cell cage totalling 6 can only be 1, 2 and 3 in some order.
Difficulty
Puzzles are generated on your device, so there is an endless supply of them. Killer Sudoku comes in 2 grades — or work up the endless track, where every level is generated a little harder than the last.
